Australian Made Cat trap. A specialized cat trap for catching feral cats, as used by Councils and Land Care Groups. This is a very robust cat trap that gets excellent feedback from users everywhere. The Wiretainers Cat Trap is easy to set and very reliable. It also works for kittens.

Australian Made Possum Trap. The Wiretainers Possum Trap is an Australian made fool proof method of getting Possums out of your house and into the garden.

Australian Made Crush Cage. The Wiretainers Crush Cage holds the animal still for sedation. It should be called the Holding Still Cage, it does not crush the animal.

Australian Made Low type Possum Trap. this trap is great for roof spaces or where the larger trap just wont go. This one is plate operated.

Multiple Catch Wiretainers Myna Trap. The entry cage packs into the containment cage for ease of freight. You will need to purchase two mirrors, some red dog food and a water bowl, and pop a perch in there - a branch from the garden will do.

Australian Made Rat Trap. This spring loaded trap door closes very quickly so those pesky rats cant escape.

Australian made multiple catch Pigeon Trap. This unit has two one way entry doors and comes with a seed tray.

Australian made multiple catch Sparrow Trap. The Sparrow trap has a one way entry hole in the centre of the trap, and a removal door on the side.

Wiretainers Standard Fox Trap. These sturdy fox traps are made in Preston Vic by people. Foxes don't like the smell of people, so when you get your trap, rub it with a chicken neck, or let it spend a night in your dam.

Plate operated Fox Trap. Like the standard fox trap, this one will need the smell of people taken away before use. They both have a door on the side for baiting.

The bait basket operated standard dog trap is effective for trapping of large feral dogs

And for the customer who prefers a plate operated trap, the Wiretainers plate operated Dog Trap is also available.

Standard Bandicoot trap pictured. Many of our traps are used for research of our native fauna. We do many variations of the bandicoot/squirrel glider trap. Some have inward opening doors, some are plate operated, we have even done some with a removable exclusion door.

Wombat Trap. The Wiretainers Wombat Trap is used for successful capture and relocation of injured Wombats. These are a very heavy duty trap for a heavy duty animal, the wombat trap weighs 40kg.

Koala Trap. We have been manufacturing the Koala trap to help with the capture and relocation of injured wildlife after the bushfires, and for Koala research.

Quoll Trap. This trap was custom made to our customers requirements. It's plate operated, with a 12.5 x 12.5mm mesh so the Quoll cant injure itself. These are being used for Quoll research in NSW.

Some of our traps use bait basket activation, and some use a treadle plate, whilst the bird traps have one way entry doors of various types.
